William Louie, M.D.
William Louie, M.D., is our director of Neuroradiology. Fellowship trained in neuroradiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital / Harvard Medical School program, he has expertise in all aspects of neuroradiology including Brain, Spine, Head and Neck. Dr. Louie has a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in neuroradiology granted form the American Board of Radiology, and is currently a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology. He completed his radiology residency at the combined Einstein- Montefiore hospital program and is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology. He was elected Chief Resident in radiology in his senior year. He earned his M.D. degree from Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Karen B. Wagner, M.D.
Karen Wagner, M.D. specializes in cross-sectional Radiology with CAT scan and Ultrasound emphasis at Lenox Hill Radiology and Medical Imaging. Dr. Wagner completed her fellowship trained in CAT scan and Ultrasound at Cornell Medical Center, New York Hospital in 1992. Dr. Wagner completed her medical degree from SUNY Health and Science Center at Brooklyn in 1986. Dr. Wagner has been certified by the American Board of Radiology since 1991.
Shelley E. Wertheim, M.D.
Shelley Wertheim, M.D., specializes in Neuroradiology at Lenox Hill Radiology and Medical Imaging. She received her medical degree from State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, College of Medicine in 1984, graduating AOA Honor Society. After an internship at Beth Israel Hospital she went on to be Fellowship trained in neuroradiology at Downstate/Kings County Hospital Center, Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Wertheim held the position of Chief of Neuroradiology at Staten Island University Hospital for 14 years. She co-authored multiple publications in medical journals. She is board certified through the American Board of Radiology in 1989 and has added qualification in Neuroradiology since 1995. Dr. Wertheim holds membership in The American Medical Association, The Eastern Neuroradiologic Society and is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology (ASNR).
Mona Darwish, M.D.
Mona Darwish, M.D. is a Breast Imager at Lenox Hill Radiology. Her expertise includes interpretation of Mammograms, Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRI and performance of MRI and Ultrasound guided biopsies. She completed her Womens Imaging Fellowship at Albert Einstein Bronx Municipal Hospital. She received her Medical Degree in 1990 from Hahnemann University in Philadelphia, PA and has been certified by the American Board of Radiology in 1994. She holds membership in the American College of Radiology and Radiology Society of North America.
Karen Fried, M.D.
Karen Fried, M.D. is a board-certified physician in Diagnostic Radiology, whose specialty includes ultrasound and CAT scan imaging.
She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Barnard College and went on to receive a Masters of Science Degree at Columbia University. She completed her MD at the Albany Medical College in New York. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New Hyde Park, New York, she completed her residency in Diagnostic Radiology, and her Fellowship in Body Imaging, also at Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Following completion of the Fellowship, she went on to Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, New York, where she became the Director of Body Imaging and Ultrasound. Dr. Fried is an expert in all areas of Ultrasound, with particular emphasis in Vascular Ultrasound as well as Thyroid Ultrasound, including expertise in thyroid biopsies and FNA biopsies since 1991. She has numerous publications in the medical journals in her area of specialty.
Dr. Fried is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine, and the American Roentgen Ray Society. She received recognition as one of Castle Connollys "Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area" 2007-2012. She has been elected by her peers to New York Super Doctors in the New York Times Magazine 2013.
Keith S. Tobin, M.D.
Keith Tobin M.D. is a cross sectional body imager and the Director of Musculoskeletal Radiology at Lenox Hill Radiology and Medical Imaging PC. He has been on the staff at Lenox Hill Associates since its inception and has played a very active role in developing the musculoskeletal and body imaging departments.
Dr. Tobin completed his radiology residency at Lenox Hill Hospital where he was chief resident. He went on to complete a two-year fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at the Hospital for Joint Diseases/Orthopedic Institute in New York City. Dr. Tobin has been certified by the Board of Radiology since 1991. He holds membership in the American College of Radiology and the Medical Societies of the State of NY and NY County.
Caren Jahre, M.D.
Dr. Jahre is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology (1988) with added qualification in Neuroradiology (1995) and is Level 2 certified by the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association Standards for Cardiac CTA. She graduated from Harvard University Summa Cum Laude and received her M.D. from Cornell University Medical College, followed by Radiology residency and Neuroradiology fellowship training at the New York Hospital- Cornell Medical Center.
After 2 years as a Neuroradiologist at Montefiore Medical Center/ Assistant Professor of Radiology Albert Einstein School of Medicine, she served as Chief of Neuroradiology at Lenox Hill Hospital for 14 years and Assistant Professor of Radiology New York University School of Medicine.
Dr. Jahre has authored multiple articles in professional journals and book chapters, and presented papers at national radiology meetings. She is a member of the American Society of Neuroradiology, Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, American Roentgen Ray Society, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Eastern Neuroradiological Society and New York Roentgen Society.
Stacy L. Jacobs, M.D.
Stacy L. Jacobs, M.D. graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and received her M.D. from New York University School of Medicine, followed by a Radiology residency at Montefiore Medical Center (2007) and Radiology fellowship training at New York University Medical Center (2008).
Dr. Jacobs held the position of Chief Resident at Montefiore Medical Center (2005-2006). She has been involved in various research projects from 1997-2007.

Hilary Umans, M.D.
Dr. Umans is Board Certified in Diagnostic Radiology since 1993. She graduated from Amherst College and received her M.D. from New York Medical College, followed by Radiology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine (1993) and Musculoskeletal Radiology fellowship training at the The Hospital for Special Surgery, (1994).
Dr. Umans held the position of Associate Clinical Professor at Montefiore Medical Center from 1994 until 2002. Since 2003, Dr. Umans has served as Director, Musculoskeletal Radiology at Jacobi Medical Center. She served as Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at Albert Einstein School of Medicine for 13 years and also held the position as Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at that time.
Dr. Umans has received numerous awards and Honors, has lectured extensively, authored multiple articles in professional journals and book chapters and presented papers at national radiology meetings. She served as an editor for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, American Journal of Radiology and Journal of Computer Assisted Tomography. She is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, New York Roentgen Society and the Society of Skeletal Radiology.
Evan Morton, M.D.
Evan Morton, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from SUNY, Albany and received his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Norwalk Hospital, Norwalk, CT he completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, New York where he served as Chief Resident, and his Fellowship in Cross Sectional Imaging at North Shore University Hospital.
Prior to joining our team Dr. Morton held the position of Section Chief of Women's Imaging in the Dept. of Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital. Dr. Morton specializes in Women's Imaging, he is expert in all areas of body and breast imaging including CT, MRI, ultrasound and mammography as well as image guided biopsies. He is board certified and a member of the Radiological Society of North America and the American Roentgen Ray Society.
John R. Melnick, M.D.
John R. Melnick, M.D., Director of PET/CT and Oncologic Imaging is a board certified and fellowship-trained radiologist. He earned his medical degree from Mt. Sinai School of Medicine, obtained residency training at North Shore University Hospital, and completed his fellowship in Abdominal and Pelvic Imaging at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, where he held the title of the Clinical Fellow at the Harvard Medical School. His fellowship training included non-vascular interventional radiology and a focus in PET/CT imaging.
Dr. Melnick now holds a title of Clinical Instructor at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Melnick's current interests are in oncologic imaging utilizing MRI, CT, and PET/CT technology.
Andrew Kwai, M.D.
Andrew Kwai, M.D., specializes in Breast Imaging, Stereotactic, Ultrasound & MRI Breast Biopsies. He graduated from M.I.T. with a S.B. and S.M. in Chemical Engineering and received his MD from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York.
Following medical school, Dr. Kwai completed his internship in General Surgery at Yale University Hospital, CT. He went on to complete his fellowship in Nuclear Medicine at Harvard Medical School, and his radiology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital, New York.
Prior to joining our team Dr. Kwai held the positions of Radiologist at John Muir Medical Center and North Bay Medical Center, CA, Breast Imager at Saint Vincent's Comprehensive Breast Center, NY and Assistant Professor, Breast imaging and Body imaging at Mount Sinai Hospital, NY.
Dr. Kwai is a member of the American Board of Radiology and the American Board of Nuclear Medicine.
David L. Milbauer, M.D.
David L. Milbauer, M.D., specializes in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Radiology including CT Myelograms. He graduated from State University of New York at Buffalo and received his MD from Duke University School of Medicine, Durham, North Carolina (1981).
Following medical school, Dr. Milbauer completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital (1985). He then went on to complete his fellowship in Neuroradiology at Yale New Haven Hospital, CT (1987).
Prior to joining our team Dr. Milbauer held the positions of Director of MRI at Computerized Diagnostic Scanning Associates, Medical Director at Kips Bay Medical Imaging and as Instructor in Diagnostic Radiology at Yale University School of Medicine, he is currently Director of Regency MRI, P.C.
Dr. Milbauer is a senior member of the American Society of Neuroradiology and is also a member of American College of Radiology, American Society of Spine Radiology and the New York Academy of Science. He has been board certified since 1986.
Gregory E. Wilde, M.D.
Gregory E. Wilde, M.D., graduated from Tulane University, Louisiana with a BSE in Biomedical Engineering and received his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine, District of Columbia.
Following medical school, Dr. Wilde completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Christiana Care Health System, Delaware and completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Hospital for Special Surgery, New York.

Corey Weiner, M.D.
Corey Weiner, M.D. is certified by the American Board of Radiology in diagnostic radiology. Following his undergraduate education at Hamilton College, Dr. Weiner studied at the Cornell Graduate School of Medical Sciences in New York City and received his medical degree from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After an internship in Internal Medicine at Monmouth Medical Center, he completed his Radiology residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey. Dr. Weiner has practiced as a general diagnostic radiologist for over 20 years, in both hospital and outpatient settings, and has considerable experience in body imaging. He has also acted as director of two imaging centers in New Jersey prior to joining Brooklyn Heights Imaging. He is a member of the American College of Radiology as well as the Radiological Society of North America. Dr. Weiner was born and raised in Brooklyn.
Peter L. Glickman, M.D.
Peter L. Glickman, MD graduated from Swarthmore College, Pennsylvania and received his MD from Harvard Medical School.
Following medical school, Dr. Glickman completed his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital and completed his fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Glickman's prior work experience includes years of musculoskeletal imaging for a busy private practice in the Philadelphia area and a large national subspecialty teleradiology company serving numerous subspecialty clinics and professional sports teams.
Dr. Glickman specializes in the multimodality diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders and internal derangements of joints related to sports medicine, trauma, rheumatology, and orthopedic oncology. He has cultivated a special expertise in the small joints of the extremities.
Dr. Glickman is a member of the Radiological Society of North America, the American Roentgen Ray Society, the Society of Skeletal Radiology, and the American College of Radiology.
Anthony Kim, M.D.
Anthony Kim, MD earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, obtained residency training at North Shore University Hospital, and completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kim is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Mark Novick, M.D.
Mark D. Novick formally trained at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, with additional training at UCSF. Dr. Novick has previously owned and operated Outpatient Imaging Centers around the metro area.
His expertise includes: Digital Mammography, Breast Ultrasound, Breast MRI, Breast PET, Molecular Breast Imaging, and associated biopsy procedures, as well as all facets of Obstetrical and Gynecological imaging.
His expertise and diversity of skills in Women's Imaging have earned him the respect of his peers, having received acknowledgement as a New York City and Metro Area "Top Doctor" in Women's Imaging and Diagnostic Radiology for the past 8 years. He has helped pioneer the introduction of Breast MRI and Molecular Breast Imaging in the outpatient sector.

Steven Sferlazza, M.D.
Dr. Steven Sferlazza received his MD from Yale University School of Medicine and is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology after a residency at Norwalk Hospital in CT. A fellowship in Breast Imaging and Ultrasound at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia furthered his training amongst world leaders in the fields of both mammography and sonography.
Dr. Sferlazza has practiced for nearly 20 years dedicated to breast imaging in the Manhattan area. He has been elected by his peers to NY Super Doctors list in NY Times Magazine, long served as Chief of Breast Imaging at major medical centers in Manhattan and has held an academic appointment at NY Weill Cornell Medical College.

Dr. Hellinger received his medical degree from the University Of Miami School Of Medicine, interned in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital / University of Miami and completed diagnostic radiology residency at Emory University.
Dr. Hellinger has held academic appointments in Cardiovascular Imaging at Stanford University, the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, and most recently at Stony Brook School of Medicine, where he was an Associate Professor of Radiology and Pediatrics and served as the Associate Director for Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging.
Dr. Hellinger has received numerous awards and honors, has authored multiple articles in professional journals and book chapters, and has lectured and presented original work at national and international meetings. He is a member of numerous Societies and is a founding member of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography.
