- Please bring anything in writing from your referring doctor.
- (Contrast studies only)-Do not eat or drink 4 hours prior to exam.
- Leave all valuables at home.
- Results will be sent to your referring doctor within 3 business days.
Patients having a CT scan of either their abdomen or pelvis are usually required to drink several cups of liquid contrast material for up to 2 hours prior to their scan time. We give patients the option to collect this oral contrast to drink at home or at the office prior to their appointment.
Please note: When you schedule your appointment you will be advised if you are required to take liquid contrast for your scan.
